The Best Asian Mocktails for Weddings

Here at Asian Wedding Bar Hire, we’ve put together a few delicious mocktail recipes if you
or your guests are planning on going teetotal on the big day. Chilled, fruity and sweet, these
mocktails are easy to make and perfect for a wedding day…

1. Asian Pear Sparkler

A smooth and refreshing mocktail accompanied by warm autumnal flavours.

The ingredients you will need are:

    • 1/4 of a cup of sugar
    • 1 cup of pear juice
    • 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
    • 3/4 of a cup of honey
    • A sprig of rosemary
    • 1 inch of fresh ginger
    • A sprinkle of fresh nutmeg
    • Ice
    • Soda water

Firstly, over a medium heat, combine the pear juice, lemon juice, honey, sugar, rosemary, ginger and nutmeg in a saucepan.

After bringing the mixture to a boil, simmer on a low heat for five minutes. Now stir to ensure that the sugar is completely dissolved.

Once all of the above steps have been completed. We recommend that you remove from the heat and let the mixture sit for 30 minutes.

Lastly, once the syrup has been strained, it must sit for a while allowing it cool completely.

2. Sparkling Raspberry Mocktail

A super simple but tasty mocktail, full of delicious frozen raspberries – it’s perfect for any
occasion! The ingredients you’ll need are:

  • Frozen raspberry lemonade
  • 3 cups of water
  •  a handful pf frozen raspberries
  • a healthy splash of sparkling white grape juice

Mix frozen lemonade and three cups of water in a small pitcher. For ice-cubes, sprinkle
raspberries into an ice cube tray and slowly pour over raspberry lemonade and set to one

To serve, add ice cubes to each glass and pour about one tablespoon of the raspberry
lemonade in to the bottom of each glass, and then top it off with sparkling grape juice.

3. Jalapeño Watermelon Agua Fresca

What’s better than a mocktail with a zingy taste of watermelon and a spicy kick of
jalapeños? The ingredients you’ll need for this one are:

  • 4x cups of fesh watermelon
  • 1 large dash pf coconut water
  • a splash of jalapeño simple syrup
  • ice

To make, add watermelon, coconut water and simple syrup to a blender and mix until
smooth and frothy for about 30 seconds. Serve straight away over ice and a squeeze of lime.
